The African proverb “It takes a village to raise a child” best describes what our center has been doing when we have partnered with different individuals and groups since 1999. Educating, Empowering and Inspiring young women is an endeavor that we know we cannot accomplish alone. We have collaborated with others to create a village that would educate and empower more girls from the pastoralist and hunter-gatherer communities in Tanzania.

Our Emusoi #ittakesavillage Series features our different partners in educating, empowering and inspiring young women from the Maasai, Taturu, Tatoga, Barbaig, Hadzabe and Ndorobo communities of Northern Tanzania.
